The Foundation was established in 2010, by Captain Steve Shapira, who recognized the need to provide fellow St. Paul Firefighters with initiates that promote health, wellness, safety, and education. Captain Shapira was determined to make a difference, and he has worked tirelessly to transform his vision into reality.
With a focus on cancer prevention, cardiac health, emotional trauma, and community engagement, The St. Paul Fire Foundation works to meet the needs and be a resource for St. Paul Firefighters. Attorney Lindsey Rowland, along with her fellow Board Members, is committed to supporting St. Paul Firefighters and their families, and is honored to help carry out their mission.
For over a decade, Meuser, Yackley & Rowland, P.A. has fought to help firefighters and other Minnesota first responders obtain access to workers’ compensation benefits, including medical expenses, wage loss, permanency, and rehabilitation benefits, as well as PERA and MSRS Duty Disability pension benefits.
